RICHARD H. WRIGHT III
PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Richard has over 15 years of midstream experience focused on organic growth projects, acquisitions, and divestitures. As CEO, Richard has a long and proven track record as a successful leader in midstream industry. His overall responsibility is the development and execution of the company’s strategic objectives while exemplifying Woodland’s core values.
Prior to Woodland Midstream Richard served as a Sr. Director and Vice President of Commercial Operations for several private midstream companies (Azure Midstream, Laser Midstream, and HESCO Gathering).
Richard holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. He is also an active member in several industry organizations, serves as a Board or Director for the GPA Midstream Association and is active in volunteer efforts throughout the local community.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Doug joined Woodland Midstream in February of 2021 and brings and extensive operational background. A 2002 Mechanical Engineering graduate from Kansas State University, Doug started his career in compressor station and pipeline design in the downstream side of the industry.
Continuing to enhance his skill set by moving upstream at El Paso/EP Energy, he served in Facilities, Completions, and Production Engineering capacities. Prior to joining Woodland Midstream, Doug managed operations at Summit Discovery Resources to successfully develop and produce oil and gas in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale. Having designed and operated treating and processing facilities to bring oil and gas to market across multiple production basins, Doug’s roles in the upstream and downstream markets have exposed him to a variety of development strategies and operational complexities that are a great asset to Woodland Midstream.
An active member of the GPA Midstream and his local community, Doug enjoys giving back to the industry and those around him.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
David Edwards has over 15 years in investment banking and oil and gas experience advising companies and clients on mandates encompassing M&A, A&D, capital raising, and other strategic advisory assignments. David has advised on over $15 billion of closed transactions throughout his career. His experience covers the midstream and upstream sectors and includes all the major U.S. basins in both conventional and unconventional resources plays.
David was most recently a Managing Director with UBS where he was a senior member of the Natural Resources Group primarily focused on the Upstream and Midstream sectors. Prior to UBS, David was a member of BMO Capital Markets energy group. David started his career at Tristone Capital where he was an integral part of the company’s growth towards becoming a premier energy-focused Global Investment Bank.
He holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Texas. David is a member of several industry and professional groups and an active volunteer in the Houston area.
